| Rationale | Google's Summer of Code is an excellent project and a great resource. There may be times when NTP could use more "project slots" than Google can offer us. For these times having an additional source of funding would provide both the NTP Project and worthy students additional opportunities for completing needed projects, education, and recruiting new project volunteers. |
